Sage Consultancy partners with RAW Training Ltd, a company which focuses on safeguarding within organizations and specializes in training, policies, governance and consultancy and has expertise in how to safeguard in international school settings.

Training

 

We help organizations to take a child-centered approach, following the principle that ‘the welfare of a child is paramount.’ Training is offered to all people in the school community, from accredited face-to-face basic training to advanced courses for designated safeguarding leads and senior leaders, governors/trustees and proprietors. We can also deliver safeguard training to pupils and parents. We help an organization to maximize all opportunities within their own setting for keeping children and vulnerable adults safe.

Consultancy

We offer consultancy on all aspects of safeguarding including policy creation and updating, safeguarding audits, buildings and premises safeguarding audits, advice on allegations against staff members, reviews of case investigations and safer recruitment to offer an outside independent perspective.

Policies and Procedures

​

We can create a range of bespoke safeguarding policies and procedures, designed specifically for your school. This would include Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment, Staff Code of Contact, Behavior Policy, Online Safety, Peer on Peer Abuse Policy, Induction packs and Whistleblowing, amongst a range of others. We also provide a wide range of reference materials for schools to share with staff to support them in their responsibilities.

Safeguarding Audit

A full audit of safeguarding policies, procedures and practices is conducted both on site and remotely. All aspects within safeguarding are examined, including governance audit. The report is presented personally to the board and head of school.  Help and guidance is then offered if any shortcomings are discovered

Pre-Inspection visit

​

If the school is having an inspection from organizations, such as the Independent School Inspectorate  (ISI), we will look at your safeguarding elements and advise where they may fall short in an inspection and actions to be taken to raise standards in this area.
